What we don't collect

Nythor does not require an account to use its core features. We do not collect names, emails, or payment details unless you explicitly contact us. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.

What's stored locally on your device

Your download history, favorites, and preferences are stored in your browser's local storage — they never leave your device unless you export or share them yourself. Clearing your browser data or using the "Clear history" button on the dashboard removes this information permanently.

What passes through our servers

When you submit a link, the URL is sent to our server so it can be processed by our extraction service. Extracted metadata (title, thumbnail, available formats) may be cached temporarily in Redis — typically for one hour — purely to speed up repeat requests for the same link. This cache does not contain any information that identifies you personally.

When you click download, our server streams the file from the source platform to your browser. We do not permanently store downloaded media files on our infrastructure.

Server logs

Like most web services, our infrastructure provider may retain standard technical logs (IP address, timestamp, request path) for security and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs are not used for tracking or advertising.

Cookies

Nythor does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your theme and settings preferences are stored via browser local storage, not cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
